At ESI Attorneys, our relationships are the heartbeat of everything we do. That is why we are thrilled to introduce Lindi Janse van Rensburg, our newest Public Relations Officer, whose vibrant energy and relationship-building superpower are already making waves.
Roots and Resilience
Born in Pretoria, Lindi grew up in a banking family – an upbringing that naturally instilled a deep sense of order, adaptability and strong ethical roots. Moving frequently as a child to towns like Potchefstroom and Windhoek taught her how to connect with new communities instantly. Guided by her parents’ philosophy of constantly offering the best version of herself, Lindi brings a powerful drive for personal and professional growth to every room she enters.
After matriculating in 1995, Lindi headed to Stellenbosch College to study conveyancing secretarial. While her student life involved rigorous 8-to-5 classes, she made time for her true passions: hiking in the Stellenbosch mountains and dancing at the Neelsie. “Dancing is the way I express the true Lindi,” she shares.
A Wealth of Industry Experience
Lindi stepped straight out of her studies and into the professional world in December 1998, starting on a student contract at Standard Bank before working as a legal typist. In December 1999, she found her true professional home in the home loan finance sector.
Her impressive career journey includes:
- Ooba (formerly MortgageSA): 10 years of service servicing the Pam Golding Group.
- iBond: 9 years as a home loan finance consultant in Durbanville and Personal Assistant to the Director.
- Rawson Finance: 6 years of dedicated service before joining the team at ESI Attorneys.
Life Beyond the Office
Lindi’s personal life is just as full of adventure and heart. She has been married to the love of her life, Jaco – whom she describes as a positive-minded and super romantic partner – for 19 years. (After a proposal in a hot air balloon, saying yes was an easy choice!) Together, they have raised identical twin sons and a third son, building a fairy tale story rooted in respect and communication.
When she isn’t busy networking, you will find Lindi embracing her love for the outdoors and movement through dancing, hiking, camping and travelling.
Out in the Field
If you ask Lindi what a typical workday looks like at ESI, her answer is simple: NETWORKING!
As a self-described “super extrovert” who can walk up to an unknown individual and start a conversation with absolute ease, Lindi spends her days out in the field meeting estate agents, building strong foundations of trust and promoting ESI’s expert services. With minimal administrative duties holding her back, she is right where she belongs: connecting people and forging lasting partnerships.
