NHBRC APPROVAL

THE PROCESS

The National Home Builders Registration Council is a regulatory body of the home building industry. Any person who is involved in the business of building homes is required by law to register with the NHBRC as a builder and be certified by them for technical competence, construction experience and financial capability. All new home building projects are to be enrolled with them, for which a certificate is issued. Most banks, when mortgaging a newly built property, will insist on valid and correctly approved NHBRC certificates.
