Angelique started at ESI in February 2018. Before that, she worked at two real estate agencies and previously to that she assisted in her mother’s business as well as worked for Bargain Books. Angelique loves to sing and enjoys reading as well as spending time with her family, friends and especially her dog, Bobby.
Annemarié completed her LLB at the University of Stellenbosch in 2012 and thereafter completed her Masters in Law at the University of Stellenbosch in 2013. She was admitted as an attorney in 2015 and as a Conveyancer in 2018. She has also received her High Court Right of Appearance in 2018. She previously practised in Somerset West and became a member of the ESI team in 2019. As part of the ESI team Annemarié brings a vibrant role and focus on all property and conveyancing related matters. Annemarié also has extensive experience in matters related to civil litigation, collections, divorces, maintenance, rental disputes, antenuptial agreements, and wills and estates.

Candice started at ESI in August 2018 and has 7 years’ experience in the conveyancing field. Candice enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs and watching movies and her charity of choice is homeless children.
Candice studied her LLB at Stellenbosch University and graduated in 2011. She was admitted as an Attorney in March 2014 and enrolled as Conveyancer in 2019, shortly after joining the ESI team. In addition to Conveyancing, she has experience in litigation, family law and mediation. Candice has a passion for excellent client service and strives to build lasting client relationships.

Caryn has been with ESI Attorneys since October 2005 and is appointed as a Public Relations Officer with the firm.
She has been in the property industry for more than 35 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, with 8 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Secretary and 14 years as a FICA Compliance Officer.
Caryn is a people’s person and she believes in always putting her clients first and that service and integrity is of utmost importance. She strives to accommodate everyone and ensures that matters are dealt with in a professional manner.

Cassandra started at ESI in March 2019 as a conveyancing paralegal. She has 6 years’ experience in conveyancing. Cassandra enjoys spending time outdoors, being with family and spending quality time with her Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Celeste joined ESI’s transfer department in February 2020. She loves the outdoors and spending her weekends with her husband, son and their three dogs.
Charlene started at ESI in December 2005 and works in the bonds registration department. Charlene enjoys reading and sleeping in her leisure time and describes herself as “not the girl next door”.
Charmaine started at ESI in November 2015, first as an assistant to the bonds secretaries and now as a conveyancing secretary since February 2018. Charmaine has a background in engineering, but managed to pass her paralegal diploma course with full distinction. Charmaine enjoys playing the clarinet and is a Sunday school co-ordinator and confirmation teacher on the weekends. She also loves to swim and take long walks on the beach.
Chleo loves spending her free time with her family and friends, as well as doing outdoor activities such as hiking. She is always up for new challenges and adventures.
Christiaan joined ESI in June 2018. Christiaan is an admitted attorney and conveyancer who has gained experience in various aspects of the law including civil litigation, labour law, alternative dispute resolution and contract drafting. As part of the ESI team, Christiaan contributes a vibrant role and focus on all property and conveyancing related matters.

Fazlin started at ESI in September 2018 as an Estate Department assistant and now as Estate Administrator. She has 9 years’ experience in the conveyancing field, 1 as a receptionist, 8 as a conveyancing secretary. Fazlin loves outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
Jacques is a director and attorney who has combined his legal expertise with his vast practical experience. He joined ESI in 1996 and holds more than two decades of experience in the property sector. He completed his B Proc at the University of Free State and H Dip Tax with the University of Cape Town.
He is ideally positioned to implement and provide practical, management-orientated advice in addition to negotiating the interface between the public and private sectors, structuring property transactions and facilitating developments.
He acts for various corporate clients, financial institutions, municipalities and parastatals, and has extensive experience in the development sector of conveyancing.

Jerome started at ESI in March 2019 as driver and administrative assistant. Jerome enjoys watching sport in his free time, especially rugby and soccer.
Johan has been employed by ESI since December 2007. He later went on to study his LLB through the University of South Africa and was admitted as an Attorney/Conveyancer in January 2019.
Johan’s duties, whilst serving his articles, include consulting with clients, the undersigning of transfer documentation with clients and heading the deliveries department.

Jolandi has been with ESI for five years. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs. Jolandi previously lived in Pretoria and she supports the Blue Bulls rugby team.
Kayleen started at ESI in December 2017 and has been in the bookkeeping department since June 2018. She has always worked in the property industry, previously with real estate agencies and now in our conveyancing firm. Kayleen loves spending time with family and friends and doing word search puzzles, sudoku and number games.
Kaylin joined ESI in July 2019 and has 4 years of conveyancing experience in the bond cancellation field. Kaylin is a final year law student with Unisa and is graduating early next year. Her electives are tax law and conveyancing. Kaylin enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and is passionate about the welfare of underprivileged children.
Lara started at ESI in April 2013 and has 13 years’ experience as a bond secretary. Lara loves painting, especially portraits of older people. These days however, she only really has time for finger-painting with her daughter.
Lauren completed her LLB at the University of the Western Cape in 2013. She joined ESI in August 2019 as a conveyancer and she manages the bond and bond cancellation departments. Lauren loves working with people and her motto is “There is no reason not to be a hero today.”
Lerine started at ESI in January 2020 in the bonds department and has more than 20 years’ experience in conveyancing. Lerine enjoys spending time with her family, reading, good coffee and going to the movies.
Liesl joined ESI in September 2018 as a Public Relations Officer. Having worked in the real estate, advertising, marketing and IT industries, she brings years of experience in sales and PR.

Louisa joined the ESI team in April 2019 as a conveyancing secretary in the Development Department. She has 26 years’ experiencing in the conveyancing field. Louisa loves spending quality time with her son, horse riding and nature. She is passionate about under-privileged children, elderly people and world hunger.
Madalene completed her LLB degree in 2014 and in 2016 she was the recipient of the Cape Law Society reward for achieving the highest mark in the Conveyancing examination for the June 2015 to July 2016 period. She was duly admitted as Attorney and Conveyancer on 3 February 2017.
Madalene joined ESI Attorneys as a Conveyancer with a special focus on the management of residential transfers (both conventional and sectional title), the drafting of property agreements and contracts, general conveyancing and resolving disputed matters.

Madré has 33 years’ extensive work experience in the field of Conveyancing. She has attended to daily visits to the Deeds Office, High and Magistrate Courts and the Registration of Companies offices in Pretoria, as well as having assisted the Dean of Engineering at the University of Pretoria to arrange functions for the Law Society of South Africa. Madré has attended to proclamations and developments of several new townships in Pretoria together with all their extensions, developments and follow-up transfers. Madré joined ESI in June 2016, being part of the firm’s SA Home Loans team. In her personal life, her two daughters are the love of her life. She enjoys catwalk modelling (she modelled for Italy in her earlier years), sketching and oil painting and she is a tremendous animal lover who believes strongly in fairness and peace.
Mari-Jani completed her LLB at Stellenbosch University in 2013 and was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer in February 2016 and as a Notary Public in June 2018. She joined the ESI team in January 2020. Her motto is: where there is a will there is a way.
Mariska joined ESI during October 2018 with more than 15 years’ experience in the administration of deceased estates and conveyancing.
Mariska’s areas of expertise are the drafting of wills, antenuptial contracts, deceased estate administration and low cost housing transfers.

Mary-Ann has been with ESI Attorneys since January 2009 as a Public Relations Officer and Bank Liaison and has a solid grasp of the housing industry.
She hails from the banking sector, where she held the position of Bank Attorney Liaison. Prior to that, Mary-Ann was an Affordable Housing Specialist for the Western Cape.

Maxi works in reception and has been with ESI since October 2013. Before that, she worked at Nationale Pers, the Department of Internal Affairs and Netcare. Maxi has diplomas in interior decorating and design and is currently studying nail art and beauty. Maxi loves spending time with her children and her Yorkshire Terrier, Duke.
Melissa started at ESI in July 2012 and is part of our transfer team. Melissa enjoys the outdoors and looks forward to camping and socialising in her free time.
Mirisna started at ESI in November 2017 as a junior secretary and became a conveyancing secretary in August 2018. She has 4 years of experience in the conveyancing field. Mirisna loves spending time with her family and friends as well as taking on new adventures.
Monique started at ESI in February 2008 as a receptionist. After a few years, she moved into the transfers department, first as an assistant and thereafter as a conveyancing secretary. Monique enjoys photography and painting as well as being by the ocean.
Ninette started at ESI in 2004 and has 19 years’ experience as a conveyancing secretary. She has recently started Pilates and loves spending her free time with her children as well as socialising with her friends. Ninette is passionate about fairness and honesty.
Patricia started at ESI on the 10th June 2013. After completing her Human Resource National diploma, she worked as a receptionist and then was given the opportunity to assist in the cancellations and bonds department where she found her passion. She has since also completed her conveyancing secretarial course. Patricia loves the outdoors and spending time with her precious toddler.
Pieter joined the ESI team in 2017 as an Associate. Pieter has a long-standing history as a practising attorney and conveyancer.

Rochelle started at ESI in June 2007 and has more than 6 years’ accounts and admin experience. Rochelle loves to go on weekend trips and holidays with family and friends. Rochelle enjoys working in a team and feels the best results are attained through teamwork.
Safiya has been with ESI for 6 years and has 29 years of experience in conveyancing. She has been described as diligent , trustworthy, responsible and well organised and is skilled in maintaining a calm attitude at the most pressured time. Safiya loves hiking and reading.
Samantha started at ESI Attorneys in November 2009 and has 20 years of conveyancing experience. She has assisted with the opening of Sectional Titles Schemes, registration of developments, transfer and bond registrations as well as bond cancellations and now focusses on bond registrations for SA Home Loans. Samantha loves meeting new people, spending time with loved ones and friends and also loves being outside in nature.
Sandra started at ESI in February 2015 as a Low Cost Housing Conveyancing Secretary. She has 18 years’ experience in Low Cost Housing Transfers and Government Subsidised Transfers. In February 2018, she also joined the estates department and is currently training to be an Estate Administrator. Sandra finds much joy in assisting the less fortunate and loves to spend time with her children as well as her pet bunnies.
Saskia started at ESI in January 2019 as a professional assistant and marketing co-ordinator. She has 26 years’ experience in the conveyancing field, 13 as a conveyancing paralegal, 9 as a software support consultant and trainer with Korbitec (now LexisNexis) and has now been back in the attorney space for four years. Saskia loves spending time with her daughters and her dogs as well as reading and hiking and is passionate about socio-economic equality and combatting discrimination in our society.
Shaakirah started at ESI in April 2016 in the deliveries department and has been in the bookkeeping department since May 2017. Shaakirah is very grateful for the opportunity to have grown her responsibilities and her career during her time at ESI.
Shirlene started at ESI Attorneys in August 2005 as a senior conveyancing secretary and has vast experience with the registration of developments, administration of estates as well as estate and conventional transfers. Shirlene loves spending quality time with her family, gardening, reading biographies and spending time outdoors.
Sue started at ESI on the 1st of May 2013 as a receptionist and currently as the Diaries and Deeds Office Manager. Sue is an excellent communicator and has always enjoyed the customer/client relationship aspect of her profession. Sue loves spending time with her family and her dogs and enjoys a good book as well as braaiing on the weekends.
Tania completed her LLB at the University of Stellenbosch and was admitted as an attorney in 2001 and as a conveyancer in 2003. She practised in Port Elizabeth before becoming a member of the ESI team in 2015.
Tania specialises in a broad area of conveyancing matters that includes residential and commercial property transactions, mortgage bonds and sectional title developments.

Tasneem joined the ESI Academy in July 2019 with 20 years’ work experience in the Quality Assurance and Learning & Development fields for a range of SETA’s, namely: Services Seta, Inseta, MerSeta, FoodBev Seta and Chieta Seta. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and being a soccer mom. Tasneem has a passion for excellence and seeing learners completing the NQF levels in a learnership, qualification or skills programme is what keeps her motivated.
Thandi is the Human Resources Manager at ESI and has a solid grasp of the corporate, financial and banking industries.
She’s passionate about what she does and about her clients and treats their business as her own. One of her driving forces is sustainability, focusing on being a business partner in order to add value and help grow the business. Her role as an HR business partner is to make sure human resource policy and procedure throughout the organization fit the needs, goals, and aims of the organization and its top leadership. As the HR business partner, she ensures that the HR strategy fits into the organisation's overall business strategy.
She has vast experience in the field of Human Resources, Learning and Development; Recruitment and Selection and Talent and People Management. She’s also been involved with Graduate Programmes, Talent Academies and Learnership programmes which she thoroughly enjoys.
Thandi is also passionate about her involvement with schools, mentoring young men and women (life is about choices) and providing life skills.

Zanele has a paralegal qualification and started her journey in the legal field at the Magistrate Court in Mitchells Plain as a clerk of the court for a year before becoming a conveyancing paralegal. Zanele works in our bonds and bond cancellations departments and she enjoys spending her free time with her beautiful daughter.
Zayaan Samuels is the Managing Director at ESI and has more than 10 years’ practical legal experience in the property sector. She completed her LLB at the University of the Western Cape in 2002 and joined ESI in 2004, adding the title of director to her name in 2005.
She practices a broad spectrum of conveyancing, including residential and commercial property transactions, sectional title developments, Mortgage and Notarial bonds, Leases and Servitudes, Instalment Purchase Agreements, Subdivisions and Consolidations.
Zayaan oversees Municipal Property transactions on behalf of the Department of Human Settlements Western Cape. She works closely with the City of Cape Town regarding their Municipal Transfers, as well as The Cape Town Community Housing Initiative (a subsidiary of the City of Cape Town) providing the public sector with affordable housing projects.
