Phumi Mlotshwa

Phumi completed her LLB at the University of the Western Cape and completed her articles in 2016. She has experience in family law litigation, general litigation and deceased estates, but found her passion and niche in mainstream conveyancing in 2018. Phumi has experience in divorce transfers, deceased estate transfers, sectional title and conventional transfers, developments as well as private and commercial bonds. She ran a pro bono department giving back to the community by assisting indigent people with property transfers, wills and administering estates as well as giving free legal advice and property law education.

Phumi brings ESI her experience with freehold bonds, sectional title bonds, development bonds and private bonds for all the major commercial banks and is excited to have joined ESI’s brilliant, dynamic and energetic team. She also loves training estate agents and bond originators.

In her spare time, Phumi enjoys running, going to the gym, yoga and hiking. She is a lover of plants and flowers. Her motto in life is that, in every difficult situation, whatever life throws at you, always look for the silver lining. There is no situation that is too hopeless to recover from.
